• Internal tools for the sales force
  We came to work on the Grey Healthcare Group's J&J account. Using latest just-out-of-the-oven Flex SDK releases, Adobe products such as Flash Builder, Flash Catalyst, Cairngorm and other we designed and implemented series of applications using Adobe Air platform.
• Neutrogena e-commerce portal
  J&J Neutrogena is a well known international supplier of cosmentic and hygiene products. In collaboration with Tribal DDB we came to help to work on their account with J&J. Responsibilities and gols included the following:
  • Find and implement solution as a transport layer between new Flex front-end for the new Neutrogena website and J2EE web services. As the result, the Flex SDK was changed, designed and implemented necessary wrappers.
  • Assessed and created recommendations for the web services' wsdl, cross-domain policy files and web services architecture.
  • Redesign architecture and implement website, adjusting and discussing the PTS.

Phillips

Phillips is a world renowned corporation that produces among other products medical equipment and tools. In order to sustain and support this sector of the business the company uses SAP enterprise environment. Responsibilities included the following:

• Design and implementation of a tool to extract and visualize data from SAP databases, using .Net 3.5, WPF, MS Studio Team Enterprise, MS SQL. The application analyzes formats, cleans and helps to restructure the data, using data specific algorithms.
• Unit testing
• Facilitate the full cycle production and deployment.

BookRunner Systems

The company specializes in the Financial Industry, BookRunner Systems provides software solutions and services for the front- and middle-office. Its main product, BookRunner Pro™, is a premier platform for Risk Management, Analytics, Trade Capture and Straight Through Processing in the Equities and Fixed Income markets.
Responsibilities included the following:

• Integrated Intex API with the BookRunner product for Pool and CMO static data lookups. Designed COM wrapper in C++ for Intex API so that it can be used within a C# module. Wrote algorithm for constructing CMO name in the Ticker, Series, Tranche format by parsing the series out of the FULLDEALNAME extended info data returned by Intex.
• Used memory profiling tool DevPartner Studio to find and fix memory leaks in BookRunner C# API. Solved memory leak issues in BookRunner trade and lookup adapters by using weak references.

Linear Lighting

Linear Lighting Corporation is a manufacturer of specification grade lighting fixtures and systems.
The company uses web-interface for sales agents to draw, assemble and order custom fixtures and fit them into specific floor plans. As the result of the web interface operations the system draws blueprints, sends them straight to workshop production and dispatches necessary orders and requests to all departments that facilitate the production.
Responsibilities included the following:

• Using Adobe Flex2, Cairngorm SDK, design and implement multi-profile web interface, sales tools on the front end as well as C# ASP.NET backend logic with security business and data access layer, using MS SQL and WebORB.
• Implement back office logic and maintain proprietary Autocad libraries written in C++, which are while connected to the backend, allow picking parts and assembling a product online, sending it to be drawn in blueprints with all consequent back office documentation for the production.

Glide Office suite, is a set of web based applications that includes a word processor, presentation software, e-mail, calendar, contacts, online photo, video, and music sharing. All of these applications function solely online. Glide Business provides an online operating environment with all of the tools a company needs to work and share applications and files across desktop and mobile environments.
Responsiblities included the following:

• Redesign, implement and add new tools for Glide OS.
• Create and incapsulate a few applications into a highly object oriented Flex RIA multi-platform application with the backend built upon .NET WebServices

Ryklin Software

Ryklin Software is a software company which develops applications for Neuroscience instrumentation. We collaborated with Ryklin team on the following:

• Design, implement and test several libraries for scientific tool "Gramalkn" which serves as a neuroscientists' tool for discovering correlation between cerebral electric signals and external actions.
• Implement visual effects as stimuluses for non-human primates. Gather data from copper rods connected to cerebral cells, touchscreens, and eye-movement recognition devices using data acquisition hardware. Implemented in C++.
  • Redesigned interfaces for dynamic libraries which store data.
  • Designed algorithms for dynamic libraries which represent visual stimuluses. Implemented using DirectX (DirectShow, DirectDraw, Direct3D), STL .
  • Designed and implemented user interface for storing preferences and data in XML. (XercesC, dom4c, MFC)

OLAN AT&S Ltd

We have collaborated with this Israeli company on creation of dictionaries and linguistic tools. Our responsibilities and goals:

• Based on a popular reference book "Live Hebrew" we implemented ActionScript version of a dictionary and practical reading/writing exercises.
• Designed and implemented a set of PC software versions of "Iris" Hebrew-Russian dictionary. Dictionary contains about 100,000 articles in both languages.
• Designed and Implemented the same "Iris" dictionary for PocketPC platform.
• Designed and implemented a verb reference for Hebrew Language
